   East Metro Mall has just opened with 724 meters of underground shopping connecting SOGO Department Store and Ming-Yao Department Store with seven separate plaza areas for metro travelers/shoppers. There are 35 stores in all including a major bookstore, coffee shops and clothing stores. The Foreign Workers' Consulting Center, located at the information center, provides financial and administrative assistance. Grand opening promotional events (a ¡§$1 Dollar Auction", coffee sampling and book fair) are scheduled from now until the end of August. And on every Saturday and Sunday, shoppers can look forward to musical performances, iced drinks sampling, horoscope readings and prizes galore.
