At first glance, Zoo Mall resembles Disneyland in a lot of ways. According to the project manager, this similarity is intentional, as it is part amusement park and part shopping mall. On the walls outside are colorful animal murals to play up the zoo theme. Inside, the 60 to 70 shops are also colorful and include McDonald¡¦s, Toys ¡§R¡¨ Us and Coca Cola. Plans are underway to cooperate with Jienhushan, a major Taiwanese amusement park, to build the largest indoor amusement park in northern Taiwan inside the Zoo Mall.--By Priscilla Chen
