Fennel sells mostly furniture, clothes, accessories and tableware from the early 20th century. Although such items are not really antiques, they are unique and carry a certain nostalgia. For example, many female customers who like old fashioned clothing tend to come here to buy from the good selection of chi-paos and handbags. The decor is graceful and refined, similar to that in the movie, ¡§In the Mood for Love¡¨. There are stylish lamps from the 60s and old records playing in the background. Although the furniture is from Shanghai in the 20s and 30s, and from Taiwan during World War II, careful shoppers will also discover more modern works from famous designers.--By Ken Lin
