It is easy to miss the tiny staircase leading to the entrance. Located across from National Taiwan University the small and cozy Parrot Record & Art Center is situated on the 2nd floor. In addition to selling artistic records, second-hand CDs and DVDs, it takes orders for audio and video products and designs sound systems and home theaters. You can listen to CDs or watch VCDs before making a purchase. Even more unique is that you can exchange or sell your 2nd hand CDs here. On the 3rd floor is Carol Gallery, which has periodic contemporary art exhibitions and sales. The 4th and top floors are not yet opened, but the 4th floor will feature Yazhi Hsiaochi Coffee Shop, where customers will be able to view works of art while enjoying a cup of coffee. The top floor will be a combined visual and performance art center for members only. The owner plans to include an open-air garden and a small stage for live performances ( starting at 11 pm) and small-scale press conferences.-by Priscilla Chen
