Certain to be good news for those who love to shop, Mitsukoshi Department Store's AB Complex opened on January 1 with much pomp and ceremony. This shopping complex has an area of more than 20,000 pings and covers nine floors, mostly filled with youth fashions. There are also home furnishings, children's, and appliance and electronics departments. To meet the needs of the entire family, there is a selection of large appliances, as well as departments not commonly seen in other department stores. In addition, there is an expanded hot foods area to meet the dining demands of working people. There are also 34 cosmetic brands represented, as well as several specialty counters.
