VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
In recent years, with the rise of Idee, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi,
the Grand Formosa Regent, and name brand flagship stores,
the splendor that was claimed by Eastern region has been revived
in the Chungshan MRT station region, plus a touch of cultural
aura with the presence of the Museum of Contemporary Arts,
Taipei and the Taipei House. The grand opening of the SSCC,
after its renovation costing millions, also marks a new entertainment
landmark in the region completing this upscale shopping district.
The SSCC has eleven world-class professional theatres, two
of which being the largest of all Taipei theatres. Featuring
large, extra-wide angled movie screen, SRD, DTS Dolby digital
surround sound stereo equipment and my favorite, widely spaced
French deluxe chair with Azabusabo chilled treats, desserts
and main dishes to complete this refined enjoyment. Reasonable
ticket price with occasional special combo pricing, this place
is a must-visit for movie lovers. ¡V By Ken Lin, translated
