"Northern Light", a comedy about first love set
in the 1970's, takes the audience back to sweet and tender
moments of adolescence when young love is fresh and new,
and the passion is exciting. Ping Fong's lead actor, Lee
Kuo Hsio, portrays a playboy alongside lead starlets Wan
Fan, Yang Li Yin and Yau Shun Gin; Tsun Kuo Tsun assumes
a comic role. Stage designs include great visual effects,
combining Impressionistic-like lighting and hi-tech surrealism.
This performance is "Northern Lights" debut in
Taiwan.

"Mang Tuo Luo of Life" is Tie Gu Dance Group's
first performance. The natural rhythms of the dancers release
an inner spiritual energy; their movements appear exaggerated
on stage and range from soft fluid natural forms to wild
animal-like gyrations. The choreography is presented in
four inspirational themes - "Birth", "Desire",
"Awakening", "Heaven" - to suggest a
whole life and universal mind experience. Tie Gu Dance Group
has been invited to perform at the Joyce Theater, an important
venue for modern dance in the United States.
