A pathway of brightly-lit trees in Ren Ai Park leads evening wanderers to Outdoor Cafe, a comfortable hangout with coffee tables and chairs on a landscaped patio.
Thanks to the efforts of Yongho city government and Otto advertising agency, Ren Ai Park has received a face-lift, making the Outdoor Cafe an even lovelier place to spend an evening. To promote Yongho as a "City of Creative Arts" and turn Ren Ai Park into a superior-quality "arts and culture square", the landscaping has been vamped up with water, lights and art. Customers at the cafe can especially enjoy the green ambiance over coffee, music and the scent of trees.

Outdoor Cafe has both an indoor and an outdoor seating area; on nights when the weather is fine, the atmosphere is perfect for lovebirds to tweet along together. The music played here varies from folk to aboriginal, entertaining locals and foreigners alike. On occasion, well-known singers and bands perform at the cafe. However, they also have hopes of offering more diverse, international performances in the future.
All of the meals at the cafe are made-to-order and are mainly Italian inspired. The cost varies between NT$120 and NT$180. One choice, "Up to You" Pasta, lets customers choose a sauce and pasta type (there are five). They also offer three set meals: Grilled Sirloin Steak and Noodles (NT$180), Southern Chicken Drumstick and Rice (NT$180), or Italian Egg & Meat Stew Noodles (NT$150). Both hot and cold beverages are also available. For dessert, choose from almost 40 sorbets.

Outdoor Cafe might be ideal for summer. However, when the rainy season comes, even though customers will not get to enjoy musical performances, they can still sit under their nicely-set canopies and appreciate the serenity of the night view.
