Step into ReWine, the newest lounge bar on AnHe Road, for a place to rewind with a glass of fine wine. Once inside, recline on a comfortable velvety couch and start with the house wine (well-priced at NT$250 a glass). More expensive indulgences, like the exclusive Chateau Margaux, are also available, along with a plethora of other fine wines and cocktails. The food is a mix of Western and Chinese, but the small portions are pricey. VIP rooms are available upstairs, ensuring a private, classy place to meet with friends or colleagues. Not surprisingly, ReWine caters more to a middle-to-higher class clientele, so if you're anxious to meet Taiwanese models and the "Who's Who" of Taipei, stop in. You might even see the famous face of Hong Shiao Ling, an owner of the lounge, who pops in occasionally as a respite to her busy modeling career. Taiwan Fun reminds readers not to drink and drive. --By Rebekah Godfrey, translated by Mei Lee
