Darts, style and quirky furnishings--a possible combination? Double Bull, a short jaunt from the ZhongXiao DunHua MRT station, sets out to convince. Slot machine dart boards line one side, and fun, funky seating and lighting the other--unusual, cosy, but it works! As well as fun with friends, the bar features a woman's darts team (Wed/Fri/Sat) and a one free beer challenge for women present. On Wednesdays bring your own darts and they'll give you a free beer. Darts can be purchased at the bar. But with tempting menus this is about more than just the game. A fair selection of whiskies, spirits and wines come by the bottle, and also cocktails (NT$180-250), beers (NT$150-180) and fresh fruit juices (NT$180). Food-wise (served until 1 a.m.) the Double Bull Beef (NT$580) comes recommended, though really hitting the bullseye with patrons is the specials board; including small pizzas and chicken tacos for just NT$100-120. Current regulations require us to remind you not to drink and drive.
