When Taiwan Fun Magazine stopped by this place for a Lucid Productions party, the bass was bumpin' and it was packed. One thing that makes this place special is the dance floor downstairs, making Living Room great for throwing a party. You can take a breather (and a drink) on one of the red velvet couches upstairs, and then shimmy on downstairs when the next hot tune comes on. When there's no DJ spinning, Living Room is a snazzy Taipei lounge bar, with NT$250 cocktails and a long list of whiskies. There's also a new chef on board that serves a plethora of Western and Chinese entrees, soups, salads, and desserts (dishes NT$180-450). Several of the owners are involved in the entertainment industry and, if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of Toro from the famous pop group Energy. Keep your eyes open, as there are plans for a Ladies Night and other events in the future.
