Walk into this quiet lane and you will discover a two-storey, stand-alone building housing a modern Thai restaurant. Partly owned by a celebrity, this establishment is decorated in a warm and comfortable European style. The second floor is available for private functions, such as birthday parties, and can seat 20 to 30 people. In an effort to diversify, a wine bar has also been added. Wines are the staple here but beers are available, too. Worth mentioning is the famous Marcel Lapierre natural organic wine from France. These wines are produced using 100-percent-natural fermentation processes; the grapes are cultivated from start to finish without using any chemicals. The taste is distinctly different from most industry-produced wines and you may find yourself ordering glass after glass. Romain Croizier, a French professional consultant with years of experience in wine studies, is available every Tuesday evening to give talks on wine tasting and other wine-related information. Wine tasting is available, too. Prices are reasonable, so don't forget to come round for some wine if you are in TianMu neighborhood.
