They
go down nightly, the B52's, at the Greenbar in
Tienmu. A delicious mix of Bacardi 151, vodka,
Bailey's and Kahlua that taste like candy but
kicks like Beckham. Its served in layers in a
shot glass and downed in a single gulp, and never
enjoyed alone. It takes two to enjoy a B52, but
typically the whole house is having one at the
same time. The Bar's B52's football club will
go through several a night.
So how do you mix it? Grab a shot glass and fill
it 1/3 of the way with Kahlua, next pour another
1/3 shot of baileys on top of that, use a mixing
spoon to help you pour the baileys so that the
drinks do not mix together. The next layer is
a 1/3 shot of vodka. Normally one would consider
the glass full at this point, but if you've done
it right there is just enough room to float some
Bacardi 151 on top.
The rest is easy, raise your glass in toast and
slam the drink down in one shot. One note of caution,
if you're going to have a few of these ask Tammy,
Cheery or April to call you a taxi while you still
have your wits about you. |
