Cafe
Fresh

When I asked a few close girlfriends to name the best nightspot
in Taipei, I was mildly surprised that Cafe Fresh came out
top.
Cafe Fresh is a popular gay bar, so why would any female
consider it a great nightspot? Sue told me: "The
place is full of gorgeous guys and it's eye candy for
the ladies. Why should I care about their sexual inclination?"
"It's a safe haven for girls, much better than
being confronted with some of those old, greasy types
who just won't leave you alone" added Elena.

And according to Polina: "Gay men know how to have fun,
you always have a good time with them around. Even if one
of them were to chat me up, I¡¦d know he is only interested
in being friends. That¡¦s a real morale booster, knowing that
I am appreciated for my personality, rather than as a sex
object.¡¨

If you want to find out what's hot and trendy, Cafe
Fresh is the right place. Those who¡¦ve spent hours
in the gym have no qualms about showing off their prized
physique in the most tight-fitting, body-hugging garb.
Those who don't often wear brand-name items which flatter
their bodies.
Level 2 has huge, luscious sofas, and artsy lamps. Level
3 is a tad smaller but it houses a dance floor that
has a very 'Saturday Night Fever' feel to it. My personal
favorite is Level 4, which has a garden-liked balcony.
Cafe Fresh may not be big compared to other dance clubs
in Taipei, but it has a lot of soul, and many who¡¦ve
been there have good things to say about it.
