In House
DJ/Lounge/Restaurant

In House, located next to Warner's Cinema Complex, is an
offshoot of TU Cafe designed by Chen-Hsiu Su. Chen, recognized
as the "Godfather of Nightlife in Taipei," is a
master at creating distinctive spaces like TU Cafe, Apocalypse,
Wind, TeXound and BarXing.
Through its glass wall, you'll see a lofty
space that's simple yet comfortable. Long gray couches, luminescent
blue ceiling lights and lush tropical plants soften the edge
of the minimal design interiors. A stand-up bar punctuates
the center of the 1000square-foot floor space where people
can relax over drinks and warm conversation. In House serves
a wide range of alcohol, wines, champagne and iced specialties.
The Mango Ice is highly recommended. In House also inherited
an excellent array of American, Italian and Mexican dishes
from the TU Cafe menu to satisfy the appetite.
| The
music at In House is outstanding. Lounge style music -
a mix of "Chill-out" and "Ambiance"
is the regular feature. However, a wider selection is
available on Saturday nights, like "Progressive House"
a dancer's favorite. Every Friday and Saturday (9:30 pm
-2 pm), DJ Tommy warms the crowd with his special blend
of Alternative and House music. |
 |
Aside from the food, drinks and music, the
romantic surroundings of In House make this the perfect after
hours get-away for couples wanting to spend some quality time
together.
