With everyone trying to save money and cutting back in dining out these days, Taiwan Fun is sharing with its reader two of the most popular "home meals", which are not only easy to make but also take only about 10 minutes to prepare.

Nutritious Rice Congee
This very filling, tasty dish is made with rich cheese, along with plain rice congee and a can of tuna.

Nutritious Rice Congee Ingredients

Ingredients: 1 pack of VONO Cheese Chowder Soup (NT$55), 1 can of tuna, white rice.
Steps:
1. Place the white rice into a pot and add hot water, bring the contents to boil, so that it becomes plain rice congee.
2. Pour the cheese chowder soup into a cup, add hot water and stir for 15 seconds.
3. Pour the rice congee into a bowl and stir it into the soup.
4. Take some tuna out of the can and put it into the hot water that you used to cook the rice congee. This is to remove the excess grease from the tuna.
5. Take the tuna chunks out of the pot, put them into the soup mixture and you're done!
