In October, 2007, Taiwanese direct sales giant Kelti Group crossed over into the restaurant business. O Sole Mio, the group's eatery, opened three locations in less than four months, with two in Taipei and one in Taichung. Quality is the key to success at O Sole Mio and to keep it that way no franchise licenses will be sold--all branches will remain under the direct control of the Kelti Group. Try some of O Sole Mio's soft serve; it's made with imported Italian yogurt powder and fresh milk from Chu Lu Ranch in Taitung. Flavors include original, mango, and strawberry. Each 100-gram serving (NT$60) is 97% fat-free and tastes best from a crispy waffle cone (NT$18). You can also try treats like the Fruit Salad (NT$98) or Country Salad (NT$98), which is celery, carrots, and Romaine topped with original frozen yogurt.
