Shin Yen restaurant has long been famous for doing a good job at enhancing the glory of Taiwanese cuisine. Located on the 85th floor of Taipei 101, Shin Yen 101 invites all to come celebrate their 30th anniversary inside the tallest building in the world. Unlike most other Taiwanese-style restaurants, Shin Yen attempts to raise its level to a place where it can be recognized internationally. Popular signature dishes you'll on the menu are Soya Boiled Lean Pork with Bamboo Shoot, Pan-Fried Fragrance Turnip Cake, Sauteed Pork Liver Slices, Sauteed Cabbage and Shrimps, Braised South African Dried Abalone with Oyster Sauce, Braised Fish Maw and Sea Cucumber in Casserole, Fried Rice Tossed with Mullet Roe and, finally, Crispy Fried Conpoy with Garden Greens. --By Josie Wu, translated by Ann Lee

A. The wide glass windows allow patrons to enjoy the outside view at a great altitude. The relaxing music playing in the background will leave you feeling relaxed and delighted even before the food is served.

B. Shin Yen 101 has three spacious scenic wondows on the eastern, western and northern sides of the restaurant. The designer's concise placement ensures that even those not seating by the window will not be blocked from the beautiful view outside.
