Chao Ping Ji provides tantalizing dishes from the Guangzhou (Canton) region and is renowned for its simplicity and relaxing, warm setting. The Chinese-style decor is nicely mixed with a modern Western atmosphere. The restaurant's exquisite cuisine, from dim sum delicacies to the finest selection of Chao Chow specialties, has resulted in it being voted as one of the best Chao Chow restaurants in Taipei.

Head Chef Mr. Ho-Bing-mu comes from an experienced restaurant-owning family, has worked with Hong Kong's Chao Jiang Chun Restaurant, and boasts close to 40 years of experience in Chao Chow cuisine with outstanding cooking skills. Among his famous dishes are Marinated Goose Slices (NT$420), Sauteed Rice Roll with XO Chili Sauce (NT$128), and Traditional Angled Luffa Pancake (NT$380).
