Shadow 3 is located in the DaZhi Shopping District and features a theme of "ink black". Not only is everything black, but they also try to convey a visually simple, "no colour, no look" kind of ambiance. As you enter this mysterious place and try to adjust to the darkness, you will be greeted by the staff. With your night vision settled in, you will admire how light and shadows work together to create a unique setting. Visit their website for a taste of what this place is like. The manager says, "We are not trying to be deliberately mystifying; we are trying to put our emphasis on giving customers the good food they deserve." Indeed, the lights only shine on the dishes on the tables, and the people sitting down. Executive Chef Zhang Rui-lin insists on maintaining quality of Huai-Shi cuisine by using quality ingredients, as well as creating other exotic dishes. --By Shanzi Chen, translated by Ann Lee
