JING ZHUAN SEAFOOD CUISINE

45, JiLin Rd (corner of NanJing E Rd & JiLin Rd)
停業 Closed

Jing Zhuan has a great selection of fresh seafood dishes. The water tanks next to the bar-style kitchen display high-end live seafood, including king crabs, geoducks, lobsters, snapper and other choices seafood lovers crave. The basement of this three-story restaurant features large rooms with sofas and karaoke machines, and can accommodate large groups. The top, second floor has individual rooms to suit groups of four to 18 and are private enough for business dinners. The first floor, the most spacious, is modern and elegant. Lunch banquet tables range from NT$3,500 to NT$5,000 and are perfect for company gatherings. --By Shanzi Chen, translated by Ann Lee

A. Half-raised wooden walls separate rooms for more privacy. The bar-style kitchen (for Japanese cuisine) is another special feature, creating a refined visual effect.
B. This rice-noodle dish is served in a well-cooked golden melon (NT$350). Cold Shan-Su (Taiwanese wild vegetable) with Special Dressing (NT$280) has an invigorating taste, definitely worth trying!
