One of the world's biggest seafood franchise restaurants, Long John Silver's, has more than 1300 locations around the globe. Ahoy Matey! They are different from other fast food chains in that they don't sell hamburgers but rather seafood, which Taiwanese love. The seafood is also served with tulip rice and vegetables for a healthy meal. The menu includes the meal sets of Long John Silver's Golden Crispy, Long John Silver's Grills, and Long John Silver's Wraps. A. The Golden Crispy Fest (NT$145) includes fish fillet, tender chicken and crispy shrimp. One of the most popular fish fillets is the South Atlantic sea cod fillet. The fillet is coated in specially-made flour with a texture that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Topping this off is fresh lime sauce.
B. The Long John Silver Grill sets are exclusive in Taiwan. The Grilled Fish Fillet (NT$150) is low fat and nutritious and the Basa Fish Fillet is tender and fresh and goes well with black pepper.
