Judging from the autographed pictures
of models and a map full of praises from worldwide
visitors on the wall, this burrito-man is pretty
popular. The menu is simple: chicken or beef burritos
(NT$70-85). The "Indian" side comes
from the spices used in the meat, giving these
wraps a not-so-traditional flavour. Inside a handmade
tortilla you'll also find some crispy cabbage
and sauce. If you swing by there and you see the
painted gate down, do not despair; Mr. An runs
a one-man business and often hops out on his motorcycle
for deliveries (to your door with a minimum order
of NT$450). If you're looking for a perfectly
authentic Mexican burrito in Taipei (good luck!),
then this homey spot isn't for you. But if you
want to give up a tasty alternative to sandwiches
and lunchboxes, a freshly-made NT$20 pina colada,
and some good vibes, well, I guess this is your
choice. |
