Casanova is the dream of a famous, 24-hour, Hong Kong-style yum cha restaurant owner. With an area of almost 340 pings, Casanova includes a restaurant (with stage and dance floor), lounge bar and piano bar. There is an air of retro elegance that is reminiscent of nightclubs in the early days, which has attracted the attention of many more mature clients. The elegant, classy surroundings allow the guests to really relax and enjoy themselves. During the live music performances, you will often see patrons dancing freely to the music, stepping back in time to their younger days. --By Josie Wu, translated by Cara Steenstra

A. Chef's Special Prawn in Mango, Green Pea and Tomato Sauce (NT$680) is a colorful plate of red, yellow and green -- the colors of tomato, mango and green pea sauce that go with the prawns. The Marinated Mushrooms and Spinach Salad (NT$280) is rich in flavor and refreshing in texture. The Deep-Fry Crab Cake (NT$280) has a juicy meat center; the tangerine sauce helps take away the greasiness.

B. Stage performances can be viewed from all seats; there are also three VIP rooms.
