The owner of Chocozing is a sweet lady named Dream, who has loved chocolate since she was a girl. In the beginning, it was her dream to recreate a cup of hot chocolate she once had in Paris. So, she opened Chocoholic with classmates -- the first chocolate drinks only shop in Taiwan. Now Dream brings her dream to the lane beside 7-11, opposite the Grand Formosa Regent, as Chocozing. The elongated shop space has two sides; European and South American. There are 20 to 30 chocolate drinks, the most expensive being the Chocozing Hot Chocolate (NT$180), made from Valrhona dark chocolate that has a cocoa content of over 70%. The smooth, slightly bitter, chocolate dream sensation starts from your taste buds and simply surges through your body. The Rose White Chocolate (NT$150) contains mild floral scents that make one feel romantic and elegant. The Aztec Hot Chocolate (NT$140) has a bit of spice for authentic South American flavor. Dream recommends their unique Oolong Tea Iced Chocolate, a surprisingly refreshing combination of fragrant Oolong and rich chocolate tastes. Apart from drinks, light, tasty treats such as Chocolate Fondue, Foccacia Ice Cream Sandwich and French-style quiches are also available.
