Cheers Nini on AnHe Road is a new haven
that party animals will certainly flock to. Situated
above Carnegie's, it is up the stairs on the left. A
balcony with a flowing water display separates you from
the hustle and bustle below. You might think you're
in New York, nestled amongst the high-rises and star-lit
skies with a glass of wine and good company. Inside,
the dining area, bar and five VIP areas (each seating
15-25 people) are separated by colorfully lit pillars
and surround a dance floor. Cheers Nini opens at noon,
offering set lunch choices for about NT$200 each. For
dinner, the head chef recommends the Special Lamb Chop
(NT$500, set menu NT$650), the Pork's Knuckle with Sauerkraut
(NT$500, set menu NT$650) and the Seafood Spaghetti
with Tomato Sauce (NT$280). If you are booked into the
VIP areas, you won't have to bend over the low tables,
because the tables can be adjusted to dining height.
The name is a tribute from the owner to his girlfriend
-- "We fulfilled our dream, so cheers, Nini!"
Next time you want to pay your own tribute, Cheers Nini
might be a good place to check out.
