Named after the Shanghai city flower,
Magnolia Court is elegantly decorated with antique porcelain
and furniture. Designed around the hottest trends in
Shanghai, the restaurant pays great attention to the
preparation details of every dish on its menu. A choice
of delicately made cold dishes goes well with chrysanthemum
tea, traditionally a favorite dining style among older
Shanghai residents. These dishes include "Soft
Hearts", such as Sweetened Dates Stuffed with Glutinous
Rice, Sweetened Lotus Root Stuffed with Glutinous Rice
in Osmanthus Syrup (NT$80), Braised Pork with Squid
in Brown Sauce (NT$280), Marinated Cucumber Roll with
Vinegar Sauce (NT$60), Sliced Kidney with Sesame Sauce
(NT$80), and Braised Minced Pork Ball Stuffed with Crab
Roe (NT$100). All cold dishes are priced between NT$50
and NT$100 and a cold dish combination set menu is also
available. Order any four cold dishes between the price
of NT$50 and NT$60 and pay only NT$180; or order any
six for only NT$255. Magnolia Court has three VIP rooms
named after places in Shanghai--Waitan, Pudong and Puxi.
Apart from authentic Shanghainese cuisine, Hairy Crab
business set lunches will also be available for NT$999+10%
Mondays to Fridays until November 30. |
