Mr. Cheese is located not far from The Sherwood Hotel. As the name suggests, many kinds of professionally-made natural cheese products can be found here. Cheese sandwiches are available during lunchtime, each made with specially-selected European-style bread, with fresh ingredients and delicious cheese that gourmands would love. The Focaccia Sandwich (NT$130) is made from traditional Italian focaccia bread with rosemary, and goes well with ham and stronger cheeses. The Prosciutto Sandwich (NT$170) uses Parma ham and the famous Italian Grana Padano cheese. The Country Sandwich (NT$120-NT$150) consists of traditional French country bread with basil, tomato, onion, ham, red wine vinegar and olive oil. You can also choose to have smoked, semi-hard, white-mould, blue-mould or other cheeses to go with it. The nutritious Watercress and Cheese Soup can be eaten hot or cold. Due to limited availability, reservations are recommended here. Vegetarian meal services are also available and there are plans to hold occasional courses on cheese cuisine.
