If you enjoy the taste of sake and
Japanese barbecue you must check out Bamboo, Patrick
Lee's latest brainchild. It boasts a wide variety of
sake, a charcoal grill and a beautiful bar that just
begs to have elbows on it. If you enjoy your sake outside,
Bamboo also has a lovely outdoor area adorned with,
you guessed it, bamboo! If you don't know sake and don't
know where to start, the house sake is a good beginning.
At NT$550, it is both affordable and great tasting.
Of course, if you are an aficionado, Bamboo also has
the more expensive varieties, some of them running from
NT$2,000 to NT$3,000. In addition, all the usual beers
are available, with Asahi being the featured brand (NT$180).
If you're looking for a quiet night away from the usual
messy haunts or a place to start the evening off with
some great food and drink, check out Bamboo. |
