Beautiful scenery: The spacious, high-ceilinged
TATA-U is located at the Miramar Entertainment Park.
Walking around this restaurant, with multi-level ceilings,
makes you feel like you on a stage, hence, TATA-U's
name, which means "stage dining". The Italiano
area is an open-style glass house with an outdoor garden
where, during the day, you can enjoy the magnificent
views of Yangmingshan. In the evenings, under star-lit
skies and lights from the Ferris wheel, the dreamy and
magical atmosphere makes it hard not to feel romantic!
Fine cuisine: The experienced head chef,
who used to work at The Sherwood Hotel, prepares creative
Italian cuisine that looks ordinary but surprises you
with its ingredients and amazingly good value. The Deep-Fried
Crispy Calamari with Light Lemon Flavored Garden Salad
(NT$220) features calamari covered in Durum wheat flour,
combined with sun-dried lemons. The taste is refreshingly
fragrant. Restaurant Manager Calvin's favorite is the
Hand Made Traditional Lasagna Bolognese Style. The delicious
aroma of the cheese tantalizes the taste buds as soon
as it reaches the table. The head chef proudly declares
that diners will never taste overcooked pasta when trying
the lasagna here. The drinks at TATA-U are all very
attractive, including a drink named Spearmint--a soda
with mint leaves--which is very cooling during these
hot summer days!
