Looking for somewhere relaxing to get
away from the hustle and bustle of the city during these
hot summer months? Situated next to the outdoor swimming
pool on the fifth floor of the Grand Hyatt Taipei Hotel,
the newly-reopened Poolside is a place where you can
sit under the blue skies with the breeze in your face.
In the evenings, it feels great to sit with a few friends
in this oasis with upbeat music playing in the background.
The Poolside was originally reserved for hotel guests
only, but is now open to all for drinks, snacks, dessert
and barbecued food. You can enjoy exotic combinations
of dishes, such as the appetizing Italian-style Fritto
Misto with Spicy Tomato Dip & Garlic Aioli (NT$460),
or the Southeast Asian-style Deep Fried Chicken &
Mushrooms Spring Rolls with Sweet & Sour Dip (NT$300).
Barbecued dishes include BBQ Lamb Cutlets with Rosemary,
Garlic Chips & Pepper Relish (NT$500), Marinated
Chicken Bites with Tahini Dip, Tomato & Cucumber
Salad (NT$460), and Marinated Grilled Prawns with Aioli
Sauce (NT$460). There is also ice cream, slush ice desert
and seasonal fruit plates to round off the happy hour.
The Poolside invites you to come and bathe in the moonlight
during these cool evenings.
