Beautiful scenery: Situated in the up-market
XinYi District and the fashionable 101 shopping center,
Hwa Young Boutique Cuisine mainly serves Cantonese cuisine,
with some "Chinese-Japanese fusion cuisine"
added in. The carefully-made dishes are visually appealing,
with symbols of wealth and prosperity. From the embroidered
floral patterns on seat backs of entranceway chairs
to the large wall coverings, chandeliers and tableware
in the restaurant, all the artwork here is done by famous
Chinese painter Chi Wei Yi. There are two VIP rooms
here, named "Jin He" (Golden Lotus) and "Ying
Fu" (Welcoming Happiness). With windows on both
sides and four-meter-high ceilings, this dining area
provides a great view of the commercial district. After
dinner, go next door to the world's tallest building,
Taipei 101, and take a ride in the world's fastest elevator
(only 37 seconds to the top) to the top of Taipei.
Fine food: From now until the end of
September, Hwa Young Boutique Cuisine presents their
"Lifetime" Valentine's Day Fruit Banquet (NT$3,344/two
persons) Set Menu. This includes Beef Roll with Kiwifruit,
Fo Tiao Qiang with Pumpkin, Whole Abalone with Bamboo,
Skewered Scallops with Mango, Barbequed Lamb with Golden
Apple, Barbequed Seafood with Fire Dragon Fruit, Banana
and Yam Rolls, and Fruit Ice with Lichees.
