From its comfortable indoor setting
to the bright, garden seating area underneath the windows,
Toscana is filled with southern European charm. In addition
to Toscana's attractive surroundings, the superb selection
of ingredients has in the past decade ensured that food
lovers keep coming for the delicious, traditional cuisine
available here. In celebration of the return of American
beef, The Sherwood Taipei has imported the best available
A1 Premium Grade Beef to create a feast of American
beef with original flavors, grilled to perfection and
combined with other high-end ingredients, such as foie
gras, liver, and mushrooms. Sicilian Head Chef Gaetano
Palumbo has experience of cooking for Prince Charles,
Pavarotti and other famous celebrities. He recommends
the Traditional Venetian Carpaccio (NT$680) as an appetizer
and the Grilled Prime Beef Tenderloin with Crispy Duck
Foie Gras and Pink Peppercorn (200g, NT$1,500). The
meat is tender and juicy and, when combined with the
duck foie gras and pink peppercorn, one can taste the
effort and techniques that the chef has put into preparing
this dish.
