Robin's, situated on the second floor of the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel, has been newly renovated. Combining stone grilled steaks, teppanyaki and a sofa bar, this restaurant gives customers a variety of choices when they walk in. The wine cellar-like wall at the entrance and the transparent oval glass separation accentuates the concept of the classic look Merged with the modern, the style is delicate yet casual. Robin's has always been famous for its steaks, so coming here for a steak is the most natural thing to do. PR Manager Kate said that the chefs try not to use too many sauces and marinades, in order to bring out the true flavors. And, in order to ensure the quality of the food, chefs personally pick out the beef. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the Filet Mignon with Ocean Lobster (NT$1320). The steak is grilled, using healthy olive oil, and comes in a four-ounce portion for lunchtime diners. The Chateau Briand (NT$3600 for two persons) is another all-time favorite of food lovers. Each cow can only produce two servings of this approximately 16-ounce Chateau Briand. Only six servings are available each day. While you enjoy your juicy tender steak, what can be better than a glass of red wine? Robin's top-quality red wines are well worth a try. Australian Kobe beef is also available.
