Going towards Meng Meng Valley new Wulai, there is a sign on a small crossroads pointing towards the Forest Lodge Resort. Turn right and go uphill for about 200 meters and you will see a three-story stand-alone villa, with a lovely garden in front of it. Walk up the stone steps on the side and you will see an outdoor cafe and a wonderful view of the country. Walking along the forest pathway here, one feels instantly relaxed.

The dining atmosphere here is also very relaxed. They provide Japanese-style cuisine and afternoon teas, combining Eastern and Western cooking styles to create new healthy eating concepts. Japanese-style set meals are available during lunch and dinner, with menu "A" and "B" available; both are geared towards healthy eating.

The first and second floors are decorated in Japanese style, and diners must remove their shoes before entering. A retro feel mixed with a hint of zen,with a very classy Japanese garden dining style is experienced here. The third floor is an outdoor cafe, the atmosphere here is rather different from the outdoor cafe in the garden. Apart from eating a healthy meal, one can also enjoy the natural scenery here. Enjoy afternoon tea (NT$250 per person) on the hillside; choose from a selection of Forest Floral Tea, Summer Rose, Fruit Tea and Lavender Tea, along with a piece of cake or some handmade cookies.

Forest Lodge Resort welcomes nature lovers and traveling artists to come spend their vacation here. They also provide foe group gatherings and accommodations ,but due to limited availability and seasonal demands, please call for reservations. In order to maintain the dining standards pets and food from outside are not allowed in here.
