Many old and new customers come from near and far to
try Michael Wendel's authetic German cuisine. Due to
popular demand, Wendel's German Bistro has expanded
and moved to its new garden villa premises. As many
of his customers are regulars, Michael always attends
to them personally, paying special attention to their
needs. There are some recent changes to the menu. Several
traditional German dishes have been introduced, such
as the fresh and healthy Mediterranean Salad (NT$260),
the Obatzda (NT$520) from the mid-south of Germany,
the deliciously authentic Panfried Trout Fillet in Lemonbutter
(NT$520) and the traditional Oven Roasted German Pork
Knuckle - Haxe with Caraway Jus (NT$540), which have
been so popular that they are now available daily at
7 p.m. instead of only once a month! Definitely worth
mentioning is the House Plate (NT$2,005 for 4 People,
preparation time approximately 30 minutes). This includes
a selection of German Delicacies, House Salad, Pork
Knuckle, Bratwurst, Schnitzel, Smoked Pork Loin, served
with Sauerkraut and Traditional Potato Dumplings, German
Mustard and a Bread Basket. Everything is most appetizing,
fantastic for a meal with friends or family. At the
end of the meal, top it off with a nice glass of German
beer or Wendel's exclusive ice cream, made from 100%
pure natural ingredients, for a perfect night out!
