Momoyama Japanese Restaurant is reopening with a whole new look, providing a new fusion of the modern and the traditional. The nine traditional teak VIP rooms have been refurbished and accentuate the traditional Kyoto style within this very modern looking Momoyama Japanese restaurant. Head chef Lin Chang Shin, who has over 30 years of experience, insists upon Momoyama's policy of selecting only the freshest ingredients, combined with what is in season, to create authentic Japanese Kaiseki Cuisine and other fresh seasonal dishes. Whether it's the sushi bar, sashimi, teppanyakki, Kaiseki Cuisine, High Class Beef Set Menu, Japanese Style Hot Pot, or other appetizers and a la carte menu items, these fabulous dishes have satisfied many celebrities in political and commercial circles. The interior decor and all the decorations, down to utensils, reflect a sense of zen. Apart from the more traditional kaiseki cuisine, you can also try the more creative Franco-Japanese fusion dish, "Sea Urchin Caviar", which uses fresh sea urchin from Hokkaido, top grade caviar, wasabi and spring onions mixed together. A rich ocean flavored dish, it comes highly recommended. Momoyama also has a wonderful collection of Japanese sake, a perfect accompaniment to your Japanese culinary experience.
