Food, wine and motorcycles are the odd combination at this new little spot on Tienmu North Road. Just across the street from Diamond Tony Hayabusa Man features everything to do with imported big bikes and big names in sport bikes. On occasion, one will see a hot Ducati 999 and Taiwan's only Aprilla Haga Italian Custom Motorbike, displayed out front. One of 300 worldwide, it can be your's for a mere NT$1.68million. The bar and restaurant also take on a Italian theme with a barrage of pastas and salads prepared by Chef Boky, who learned his skill at the Regent Taipei Hotel. Set meals run between NT$480 and NT$780. Beer, on the Heineken scale, starts about NT$150 a bottle. For sports fans and party animals, Hayabusa Man features a large-screen TV, and downstairs VIP room, a small dance floor with a disco ball and pole for some erotic pole dancing. --By Joe Duffer, translated by Echo Tsai
