By
all accounts, this is a decent Mexican restaurant,
with a variety of Mexican beers. The ambience is
great, from its Sierra Nevada ranch house decor with
faux adobe walls and timber ceiling beams to its
extensive menu (paella, fried mushrooms, even tortilla
soup) including properly prepared refried beans.
The chicken tacos come with a great tasting shredded-chicken
filling in a soft corn tortilla and taste as they
should. The beef burritos, however, are less remarkable.
Perhaps best of all is the complimentary salsa: It
surpassed the high spicy hot-pot standards of my
dinner companion with a long drawn out, "ooooooh,
spicy!" |
