Amy and Roland's La Casita is the oldest Mexican eatery in the city, and also one of the most authentic. Located on a busy lane, it is set in a long and narrow room with no more than eight or nine small tables. It does a great job of recreating a cozy Tijuana atmosphere. Every so often, Amy takes a trip back to Mexico to renew her culinary skills. And the nice variety of items on the menu shows her appreciation of the food. Regulars--and there are plenty of them--rave about the Super Burrito, but even if you just want tequila, chips and guacamole, you get it done right at La Casita.
