Whether it's tea, food or desserts, Hong Kong cuisine has consistently been a favorite in Taipei. Hong Kong food always teases the tastebuds, and Bao Fanguan is no exception. This is the place to go if you are looking for reasonably priced authentic Hong Kong-style "Clay Pot" cooking, a taste that lingers in the mouth, and one that is slightly different from typical Taiwanese dishes. This is perhaps the most popular "Clay Pot" restaurant in Taipei; it offers Shrimp in XO Sauce in Clay Pot (NT$85), Mushroom And Chicken in Clay Pot (NT$80), Phoenix Claw Pork Cutlet in Clay Pot (NT$90), and other assorted dishes prepared by chefs from Hong Kong. After opening the ceramic pot and enjoying the sizzling and rich fragrance, your mouth is filled with the almost addictive taste of Hong Kong's own XO Sauce. You can try the selection of Cantonese desserts (NT$40 to NT$60), and a variety of popular dishes, such as House Special Soup (NT$ 50).-- By Josie
