with sombreros and cacti, this popular eatery is
usually packed for lunch, and serves a filling set
menu for just over NT$200. With the usual aplomb
associated with the genre, the waitress will even
say "don't touch the plate, its hot" when
she lays it down on the table. The chimichangas are
something short of the original concept, more like
puff pastry with a little meat filling, but they
still manage to carry the full flavor through. Amigos
carry a full menu of enchiladas, tacos, burritos
and other staples. Service is fast, and the beer
is cold. Amigos also features a unique set of ice
cream dishes and fancy cocktails--great for the hot
summer months. |
