VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
By Courtney Donovan Smith Stylish Liquid Lounge, known for great weekend parties, good music and a relaxed atmosphere, is also the home of a unique drink known as the "Pain Killer". Not listed on the menu, you know who is "in the know" at Liquid Lounge if they order this house concoction.
This drink tastes like a summer day--slightly lemony with a hint of honeydew melon. Unlike most fruity drinks, the Pain Killer is refreshing, rather than syrupy or sweet, and is popular with both men and women. The fun part is that it is served with a mound of crushed ice and topped with honeydew melon balls, and is as much eaten as it is drunk--thoughtfully, they provide a small spoon with this drink.
The creator of this drink, bartender Erica Yeh, is as interesting as her creation. A drummer and keyboardist, she named her drink after a band she was in. While the band may have passed on, she has her own hit with the Pain Killer.

2. A 'hit' is a popular song, so I am comparing the drink to a 'hit song'.
