PATIO is located in XinYi District, Taipei's premier entertainment area. With a floor area of 350 pings, its super-elevated story design creates a space with distinct layers that are divided into two sections. The restaurant section is decorated in the latest style popular in Europe, the U.S., and Japan--a trendy fusion of 60s and 70s retro and avant-garde. The other section is a fusion of classical Chinese elements with clean-cut, post-modern lines. This spacious place serves as a dance floor from Wednesday to Friday; Wednesday and Thursday are Ladies' Night. Looking to shake your body? Come down to PATIO and party to music from professional DJs from Europe and the U.S. To satisfy the eclectic tastes of city people, PATIO's menu is diverse: There are Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, and Indian dishes for NT$330 to NT$420. Meal times are 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (afternoon tea), and 5:30 pm-9:30 pm. Fine wines are available. --By Josie Wu, translated by Yvonne Chen.
