The
Silver Spoon, situated in Taipei's HuanYa business
district, was Taiwan's first buffet style Thai-themed
restaurant. In the two years since it opened, its
authentic and delicious dishes, coupled with a
modern spacious interior, has made it a favorite
for many discerning customers. The Crystal Spoon
at Taipei 101 Mall continues this same spirit, but
is single order rather than buffet style. Customers
can satisfy their appetites with items such as Thai-style
cold dishes, prawn crackers, curry, rice noodles,
and other assorted spicy dishes. The Crystal Spoon
menu also provides some unusual dishes, such as Thai-Style
Shark Fin Casserole, and Abalone Casserole. The
restaurant also provides Thai drinks and desserts
during afternoon tea periods. To meet customers'
expectations in this business district, cocktails,
red and white wines, and liqueurs, are also available.
The boutique design elements, the superb views, and
the modern atmosphere of this restaurant give it
an ambiance like that of a boutique hotel overseas.
