HuaYin Street

Located behind Taipei Railroad Station, HuaYin Street was famous in the early 1980s as the place for high-quality clothing, leather accessories, suitcases, jewelry, cosmetics and other goods. However, with the opening of department stores and changing shopping habits, HuaYin Street lost much of its business. Business owners have responded by updating their marketing tactics. Each year, during Chinese New Year, there is a festival, and during other seasons there are various activities and events. HuaYin Street is easy to reach by public transportation. Take a bus to the intersection of ChongQing North Road and Civil Boulevard, or walk from Taipei Main Train Station.
