Feng Zhuan is a 200-ping restaurant with a tranquil, almost Zen-like atmosphere. The Taipei branch of a well-known Taichung seafood restaurant chain, Feng Zhuan serves food cooked to retain its original flavor, with minimal oil and spices used. The management hopes to stimulate healthy-eating concepts in Taiwan. The dishes--French, Chinese and Cantonese-style seafood, shark's fin, lobster, raw fish, and beef--have been designed by chefs from the Far Eastern and Hilton hotels. In addition to lunch and dinner sets (NT$680 to NT$1880), Fresh Fruit & Vegetable with Tuna, Pan Fried Lamb Chop, Superior Abalone In Oyster Sauce, Deep Fried Chinese Chives & Fresh Shrimps Dumpling are all highly recommended by the management. The level of comfort is comparable to a five-star hotel, with a "private club" feeling. -- By Josie Wu
