Located on the first floor of The Westin Taipei, this eatery offers a wide assortment of sandwiches, hamburgers, noodles and drinks. You can have your food al' fresco style (outdoor) under the umbrellas. Executive Chef, John Rodyl Lim highly recommends their house special, the Deli Club Sandwich at NT$210. The sandwich is made up of 3 different layers of bread - whole wheat, highland barley and white toast. The 1st layer consists of smoked chicken breast with Swiss cheese & pickles, the next layer has bacon, fried eggs with tomatoes. Each layer is lavished with mayonnaise and thousand island dressing topped with a generous helping of lettuce. A rare find in Taiwan is the Reuben Sandwich at NT$210. Gorhed beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese are used to make this sandwich. It is thrown into the oven to bake till the cheese melts onto the ingredients, and then it is quickly removed and placed onto the toaster oven for a couple more minutes so the golden-brown sandwich comes out waffle-style.
