An English pub and a Mongolian barbeque come together at The Ploughman Inn that's been goin' strong for 23 years. European country style furnishings give the place a rustic feel and the aroma of barbeque fills the air, priming the taste buds for the all-you-can-eat Hot Pot and BBQ that cost NT$298 (Adults) and NT$180 (Children). This type of cooking, explains the proprietor, once fueled the troops when preparing for battle. No wonder the warriors were so brave. But come nighttime, The Ploughman Inn transforms into a vibrant nightclub. Word has it that many of Taiwan? Rock and Roll celebs first appeared here.
