VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
Standing
a half-story higher than its neighbors and amid the endless
flow of traffic at the corner of Fu-shing North and Min-sheng
East Roads, Jasmine House catches your eye. Stepping through
the wooden doors brings immediate tranquility. An eclectic
arrangement of uniquely fashioned furniture and bric-a-brac
echoes days past - an old door with a faint inscription
for good luck doubles as an attractive table. Before long,
you'll notice four cats quietly enjoying the atmosphere
along with you. Naturally, your own pets (caged, please!)
are welcome too. The owner brews an excellent pot of coffee
(NT$160-NT$180/cup) and serves a variety of set meals (approximately
NT$350) that satisfy the heartiest appetite. Sit for a while...relax
and enjoy the day. -- by Josie Wu, translated by Steve Austin
